PSAT Information
The Preliminary SAT not only provides practice for the SAT but it also give students a chance to enter the NMSC Scholarship Program (Junior Year ONLY) while gaining access to college and career planning tools.

Whats on the test?
The PSAT measures: Math Problem-Solving Skills, Critical Reading Skills, and Writing Skills. The test is broken down into five sections: two tweenty-five minute critial reading sections, one thirty minute writing section, and two tweenty-five minute math sections. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 & Saturday, October 15, 2011
This test is only adminstered by high schools; therefore, check with your local high school to find which date they offer the test. High Schools only choose one October date. To find which high school is offering the testing in your area click here -
2010 Practice Test
If you do not have a copy of the 2010 Practice Test, please ask your counselor for a copy of the 2010 Official Student Guide to the PSAT/NMSQT. Once you take the practice test, use the answer explinations below to see how well you did and to improve your test taking skills.
