
What is the process from start to finish for graphic design work?
Step 1: Project Planning
- Identify your target market
- Select size and type printed piece
- Select paper stock and printing process
- Go over various layout and styles to communicate your message to your target market
Step 2: Quote Evaluation
A quote will be sent to you for evaluation with the following stated on it:
- Cost estimate based on the hourly rate and the number of hours to complete the project.
- Outline of the project that will include development details, project schedules, payment terms, and deliverable dates.
- Press Quotes (all press work will be paid directly to the vendor of your choice) *DMMSI will coordinate the press run per clients request*
Step 3: Service Agreement
DMMSI requires all clients to approve and sign a Service Agreement that will protect both DMMSI and the Client. The Service Agreement will also provide a solid expectation and agreement about creation and delivery of the project. The Service Agreement will be legally binding upon both parties.
Step 4: Client Feedback
Client feedback and approvals necessary to achieve scheduled project milestones are mandatory to ensure timely advance of the project. Client input is valued necessary for project deadlines to be met as scheduled.
Step 5: Print Job Coordination
DMMSI provides print coordination services and will coordinate the entire press run including delivery of product to your business.
*Client pays all service bureau and/or printing charges directly to the vendor.
